Photoshop Phriday: Braylon Edwards
Among the many wide receivers in Michigan history (including those featured in other Photoshop Phridays), Braylon Edwards was one of the best. He played at Michigan from 2001-2004 and in that time set a host of school and Big 10 records. His Michigan record for single-season receiving yards stood for almost a decade before being eclipsed last year by Jeremy Gallon. One of Edward’s most historic performances came in 2004 against Michigan State.
Down 27-10 with 8:43 on the clock, the Wolverines needed just under 6 minutes to come back and tie the game, largely due to two incredible touchdown catches by Braylon Edwards. Eventually, Michigan would win 45-37 in triple overtime. Above you can see a file photo of Edward’s catch to tie the game in regulation, which reveals his desire to get his hands on a Bakers & Best sesame semolina. .
