The 1947 National Championship Team
As I thought might happen on Monday, I had neither the time nor the energy this week to do a new Photoshop Phriday post. There are a few blogs I follow that have continued to post on regular schedules when getting new puppies, I really don’t know how they do it. I suppose when the blog is your income source (which, if you hadn’t figured out by now this is not mine) you have an extra jolt of motivation. But I wanted to share again some of my favorite past photoshops of members of the 1947 National Championship team.
At defensive tackle you had Alvin Wistert, the third and final Wistert brother to play at Michigan (Whitey and Al came before him). Future Michigan Coach Bump Elliott was a running back with a love for Despicable Me and Howard Yerges led the offense at quarterback. Patrolling the sidelines was Coach Fritz Crisler who would transition to being Athletic Director the following year. I’ll be back on Monday with a great bread recipe to share, and of course more pictures of Maple!
